The Midtown Urban Renaissance Corporation is proud to announce a new midtown "Block Captain" program. This program is designed to give residents a stronger influence in keeping their neighborhoods clean.

A good Block Captain will keep an eye out for their block. General duties include reporting on suspected drug abuse, code enforcement infractions (which include unkempt lawns, excessive garbage, and unresolved automotive issues), and reporting excessive noise and unruly behavior. Block Captains will also be asked to attend a quarterly meeting with MURC.
