MURC's Home Buyers Graduation

Tuesday, May 23rd, was graduation night for members of The Home Buyers Class sponsored by MURC (Midtown Urban Renaissance Corporation) and PNC Bank. The classes were effectively conducted by Vanessa Narario and Grace Corpuz of PNC Bank.
Participants were excited about the possiblities of home ownership. Members of the class confided to Diana Harris, Vice President of MURC, that the sessions provided them not only information but also the confidence that they needed to move forward with purchasing a home. They felt that if they were turned down the first time for a mortgage, it was not a reason to give up.
This is the first of a series of classes that MURC will be running on "Home Ownership" and "Starting Your Own Business". One of the goals is to prepare the residents that wish to be a part of the Redevelopment on West Lake Avenue.
