On Saturday, January 24, 2009 the trustees for the Midtown Urban Renaissance Corporation came together for a board development workshop. It was facilitated by Mr. David Gray, CFP, and President of Finance Arts, Inc. He identified their needs and asked thought provoking questions that helped members to evaluate their positions and what it means to be a volunteer in a community organization.
Since the workshop MURC Trustees have prioritized their goals and are focusing on fundraising, increasing membership and reaching out for contributors and volunteers. MURC President, Dianna Harris says,” We are looking to the future and working to make the Midtown Community a thriving neighborhood for the Township of Neptune.”
